Listen. Connect. Collect.
It’s the way we do business, and it’s the way we live our values through corporate engagement that improves the lives of others.
Listen. By listening to the community, we learn where the greatest needs are, and then we get involved… with the Buncombe County United Way, with the regional food bank that serves the 18-counties of Western North Carolina, with community-based programs that address homelessness and improve the health and well-being of veterans and low income families.
Connect. Zealandia Capital employees connect with each other and Asheville’s community-based not-for-profit organizations. We volunteer. We contribute individually and collectively, and we work together to make Asheville and Buncombe County a better place to live for all who call it home.
Collect. Every year the Zealandia Staff Auction raises thousands of dollars for Asheville Buncombe Community Christian Ministries (ABCCM), an inter-denominational charity that serves low-income families and homeless veterans and Eblen Charities that provide medical, energy and emergency assistance to residents in Western North Carolina. For our employees and their families, it’s become an annual tradition – bidding on items donated by co-workers, all for a good cause. The funds raised are put to good use by ABCCM and Eblen Charities to bring Christmas to families who would otherwise have nothing.
Listen. Connect. Collect. It’s the way we do business at work and in our community.
